Spring time is bustling with lots of activity in the orchards. Gardens are being planned and planted while the blossoms are giving an incredible show! (Usually around Mother’s Day). Blossom time offers breathtaking photo opportunities, so bring along your camera and prepare to take in this fragrant display! Of course the bees are busy doing their most important job of pollinating and gathering nectar to make fragrant blossom honey (available in the Cider House Store). The marsh marigolds line the ponds while the dogtooth and trilliums form lovely drifts of colour in the nature trails. In the month of March, you might like to explore the fields adjacent to the farm to view the Arctic Tundra Swans on their flight path. This too, is a spectacular sight to see.
The Cider House is open every weekend (or by appointment or by chance during the week) for tasting and shopping. It’s a lovely, and quiet time to visit Twin Pines.
